Todd Dominates again in Round 6

NSW Quarter Midgets Round 6
 

Heat 1 saw Jamie Dicker in the VRT number 0 car having chain issues and failing to start. The #2 car of Rob Stephenson jumped to the lead closely followed by #1 Todd & the #6 car of Brett Muller. The track conditions were very slick making for some challenging driving. A few mistakes saw Todd and Muller over take Stephenson in what was seen to be a usually long 10 lap heat.

Heat 2 the drivers meet with a freshly watered track making for some interesting racing. Dicker once again plagued with chain issues did not start. Todd led the race followed by Muller and Stephenson. With 1 lap to go Muller lost a wheel causing him to not finish putting Stephenson up to 2nd behind Todd.

Heat 3 saw all 4 cars take to the track. Dicker lead from pole followed by Todd, Stephenson and Muller. Todd threw all he had at Dicker with no result. The #0 VRT car sprinted to the win.

It was to be an exciting Feature race with all 4 cars starting the race. Todd from pole was closely followed by Stephenson with Dicker snapping at the #2 cars heals. The #1 car of Todd found his groove and opened up the lead from Stephenson & Dicker. The #0 Car of Dicker threw all he had at the #2 car but just couldn’t find a way through to take 2nd. On the final lap Muller found a part of the track that didn’t agree with him, shooting the #6 car into wall on the main straight. Car and driver not damaged seen Muller complete his final lap finishing 4th.
